Postdoc Bram van der Kroft wins best paper at GRASFI

Postdoctoral Researcher Bram van der Kroft won the Best Paper Award at GRASFI 2026 for "Investor Democracy," co-authored with Rob Bauer, Emmeline Cooper, PhD, and Paul Smeets. The paper introduces a novel elicitation method for assessing social preferences using a mini-maxi-public approach and demonstrates that pension participants shift from non-consequentialist to consequentialist preferences when better informed—findings with real implications for pension investment decisions.
